Client Success Academy
For designers ready to ditch feeling powerless in their business and finally be in control.
you want your clients to respect your processes, follow protocol, and treat you as the expert you are.
But all the time you’ve spent…
—> Refining your contract
—> Mulling over how to enforce your contract
—> Stressing when your client breaches your contract
…has not made that happen.
Here’s the thing.
For you to maintain control of your clients and your design process, you have to position yourself for success from the very beginning.
The reason why your clients are still shopping you, texting you incessantly, and bombarding you with unnecessary asks has almost nothing to do with your contract…
…but it has everything to do with your client process.
Enter…
Client Success Academy
A curriculum-based program for designers who want to achieve client success and project control in 60 days.
Client Success Academy Is Designed For You To:
✔️ Maintain control of your clients and projects
✔️ Position you as a leader to your clients
✔️ Manage your client’s expectations before and during the project duration
✔️ Decline undesirable leads kindly and guilt-free
✔️ Sell your ideal clients on working with you
…so you can spend more time focused on designing, and less time being bogged down by annoying client behavior and debilitating anxiety.
Prior to working with Jeannie I was winging my entire client process and it was NOT working out for me. I really struggled to set expectations with my clients regarding timeline and budget and never quite new how to get my clients to follow MY process rather than being a people pleasing designer. This has been the best investment for me. I feel so organized now and know I can properly set up every project for success. Her email templates are pure gold nuggets I’ll be hanging onto forever.
Liz T., Liz Tew Interiors
This experience was so valuable. We lacked a defined client process which was beginning to cause major inefficiencies in our design process. Jeannie provided scripts for how to professionally articulate our processes, our policies, you name it, in a way that secures our client’s agreement from the beginning (including some opportunities to upsell our services.) This really is a roadmap for your whole client process. If you struggle with inefficiencies and managing client expectations, this is the program for you.
Carly M., Unpatterned
I’ve been in the industry for 10 years (!!!) but when I branched off on my own, I was so not anticipating how challenging it would be to set boundaries with my clients and maintain control of my own projects. Well let me tell you, I now know how to be both friendly and businessy with my prospects from the very beginning so I can both engage AND lead them. I gained so much value from this program including scripts and email templates which were all missing from my process before. I feel so protected now against the problems I had before, and future problems that would have come up. You honestly can’t afford not to invest in this program, that’s how valuable it is.
Andrea H., Terracotta Interiors
As much as I had a client process, it failed to weed out undesirable clients from desirable ones, didn’t prevent my clients from over-communicating, and I never really knew how to communicate client expectations without totally overwhelming them. Jeannie helped me break down each part of the process to create intentionality behind every meeting, every phone conversation, and every email that I send. I now feel I have a clear, intentional client process that will attract ideal clients, get them excited to work with me, and position myself as a leader from the beginning.

This is a no-brainer for any designer looking to increase their organization and confidence. Without a process I was wasting time on undesirable prospects, accepting clients without clear budgets, and failing to manage client expectations to the fullest. Jeannie provides every resource possible when it comes to the client process: meeting outlines, scripts, to-do lists, email templates… She has honestly made it so easy to follow one strategic process, and the only thing left is for my teammate and I to execute on it.

When I first enrolled in working with Jeannie, I hardly had any client process, and definitely not one that communicated boundaries or client expectations the way I needed to. This program helped me make decisions on boundaries and processes I’ve been wavering on, identify my client minimums, and provided tools to communicate tough conversations and decline undesirable business, which is all huge in attracting more ideal clients and weeding out projects I don’t have time for. By the end of the day I had a fully organized and professional step-by-step client process that elevated my current process significantly. I highly recommend this investment for all interior design business owners who are struggling with their client process.

FAQ’s

In short, I ran a very complicated business in my corporate role where maintaining control was essential. I learned the hard way that for my business to be successful, I had to properly manage client expectations, communicate effectively, decline the wrong people and attract the right ones. I really learned the art of having an effective client process and leveraging it to my advantage. Since then I’ve worked 1:1 with designers to fully understand THEIR process, and have taken all of my expertise and poured it into creating the best client process for you.

This program currently does not include private 1:1 coaching sessions, but you can choose to include 1:1 sessions throughout the program if it will help you better personalize the material to your design business.

This isn’t a Q, but I wanted to call it out. No, I am not a designer. But, I do know how complicated your business is. I only work with designers and know your business pretty intimately at this point. I also know that you are just a few missing pieces away from running your business efficiently and effectively, and how crucial it is to set boundaries, communicate your process, and manage client expectations in the beginning so you aren’t bogged down during the rest of the project. Time is money, and you deserve to have more of both.
