The missing piece from your client process
Hey there friend.
Coming to you from lovely Lafayette, Colorado.
Jacob, Rebel, and I took the 14-hr drive to spend a couple weeks looking at mountains instead of skyscrapers and feeling quite humbled by altitude with every walk and run we go on.
Here's a sad attempt at a family photo from yesterday’s hike >>> Note the brush holding my phone up 😂 (and Rebel being much more interested in the prairie dogs.)
Speaking of things that slow us down, let’s talk about your clients.
You know – the ones who feel like they’re working against you half the time.
You may wonder how the person you got along great with in your consult can be the same person who seems to question everything you’re doing.
If only they would juuust baaack offf!
Well as most conflicts go Jeannie, what’s happening on the surface is a result of something much much deeper.
To have a client that allows you to maintain creative control, follow your own business processes, and works in lock-step WITH you and not against you, you must establish one thing from the very beginning…
Trust ✅
Now they say that trust is the hardest thing to gain and the easiest to lose. So how in the world do you accelerate the “gaining” so you can begin effortlessly creating?
Well, that’s what I unpacked in this week’s live video.
There’s only one way to really gain trust before a client project begins, and that happens with an intentional and effective client onboarding process.
Some people think having a multi-step onboarding process is a surefire way to lose a sale, but those are the very same people who are landing high-problem clients with low profitability to show for it.
That’s why I’m breaking down the onboarding process.
And more specifically, the ways you can make deposits into that "trust bank" that allow you and your clients to work seamlessly together throughout your entire design project.
